Having beaten off the Libyans attack on the Nile Delta its now the Sea Peoples who threaten Pharoah Afrophis, King of the High Hair-do, Lord of Avaris, Perm of the Nile.
Percy the Peleset and his boys will be a hard opponent. Fierce foot should give the chariots a headache.
The Hyksos

1 group light spearmen @4

1 group Skirmishers @ 2
The Peleset
1 x group heavy chariots. @6
3 x groups Fierce Foot, Peleset bronze swordsmen @ 4 Central group includes Big Chief Big Percy
1 x skirmishers @2
Coming in at 20 points the Peleset are obviously missing their Sherden allies, who give another chariot group and three units of Fierce foot to this army.
Percy leads his boys on table. He looks mean and ready for it. |
The Peleset face off their Fierce foot against the Hyksos spearmen |
Meanwhile the Pekeset skirmishers are ridden down by the chariots. |
The Hyksos charge the Sea Peoples fierce foot, catching them at a disadvantage, and they can't countercharge mounted. Basically it means they must roll sixes. |
The chariots batter them, but it should be a game of two halves if the Sea Peoples can rally and get back at them. |
It's almost a lucky blow but as it is its a negative and the Peleset rout. ( And actually Percy is with the central unit so it couldn't be a lucky blow anyway. |
The Sea Peoples heavier chariots slam into the Hyksos guards, but essentially bounce off. |
Percy gets stuck in. Three kills, the Hyksos levied foot spears also kill three. |
And once again the morale roll for the Sea Peoples is just poor. |
The Maryannu archers on the Hyksos chariots try a shot on the heavier Sea Peoples carts, and it's much better tactics. Those chariot runners are shielding the Hyksos really well. |
But the response is a charge and counter charge. The Hyksos dice are much better. |
The Bad news for the Hyksos is that the Egyptians are getting nearer, as Pharoah Arsemose and his troops prepare to march down on the invaders. The Egyptians are based in pairs as befits regulars and use LINES.
A big flocking day is due. |
Lord of the Perm
