Terrain for Pillage

Waiting for my preorder of Pillage to arrive I decided to get ahead of the curve, for once, and make up some terrain.

The sheep.

Some simple milliput sausage sheep, multi scored to get the fleece effect and sculpted heads added.  The mass of sheep takes away from the Disney look of some of these guys.

My sheep flock.  Cost was about £1.50 including a third of a pack of milliput and the  MDF basing.

The Disney look in a close up.  Painted up they look better even closer!

Although maybe my attempt at the the ram needs more work.

The Buildings

Three foamcore based 11th century huts, that store with the smaller inside the larger.  The outer building of this Russian doll style terrain will be a Saxon church I've not built yet.  The basic tools, foamcore walls, coffee stirrer wooden beams, doors and shutters, card and pan scrub or felt tile roofing.   

The Perry 11th century farmhouse and two more scratch built that fit inside for storage, as does the standing cross.

And this will be a church, that will double as a manor.

The assembled model

Wooden framework added

Plaster sand and an undercoat added.

A pair of tents for my Early Libyan Bronze age encampment.

And a Sprue of Warlord Games farm animals.

With the loot points added they look pretty good.
