En Garde! Episode 4, Rescuing the Compte di Campo and his family Jewels

Episode 4   "You got to fight for what you want, For all that you believe..."

The Compte Geno di Campo and his daughter Lady Cruella are taking supper at an Inn on the Valenza road.  With him is a small chest containing the Campo family jewels, and these are his daughters dowery for her forthcoming marriage to Tarquin, La Compte de Monte Pubis, a Savoyard Noble who (apparently) supports the French.   He is escorted by two Musketeers of the Savoyard Guard.

Also at the Inn is the Bladé, unaccountably still alive after being chased through the woods by Vigo, and what remains of his men.  Shallow the Innkeeper and his two varlets are the only other characters.

Suddenly the door bursts open and the bandits of Captain Quim, a notorious road agent, burst inside, firing pistols and brandishing knives.  The highwayman has heard of the Compte`s presence at the Inn and wants to do a little kidnapping.
Who wouldn`t want to kidnap a woman called Cruella?
Captain Quim has Five henchmen, Poins, Bardolph, Corporal Nym, Ancient Pistol and Locke.

It`s time for a pub brawl!

The Captain's henchmen burst into the Inn, whilst he bravely remains mounted outside
The five henchmen, Poins, Bardolph and Corporal Nym are armed with traditional swords and daggers. Ancient Pistol and Locke carry pistols, several of them, as well as daggers.  They plan to fill the inn with pistol smoke as they fire into the Compte's guards.

The pistol shots drop two of the Bladé's remaining men, and a brawl ensues.  The smoke is effective at keeping the Chevalier and Lurkio out of the action.
The Savoyard Guard Musketeers fight well.
Nym is the only highwayman swordsman left and the Bladé runs him through (except that technically it's not the Chevalier but Lurkio, still he's just a servant so the Hero gets all of the praise...)
Lurkio storms outside after Pistol and Locke, but the Highwaymen have had enough and run for it.  Meanwhile the Chevalier remains inside the Inn complimenting the Compte on his family jewels, and overacting in a badly dubbed way, as he makes eyes at the lovely Lady Cruella.

Of course she is betrothed to Tarquin, La Compte de Monte Pubis.  What could this possibly mean for the plot?

Will the Flasque de Bladé be distracted from his mission?  Will he have any men left at this rate?  What happened to that Papal Nuncio guy?  None of these questions will be answered in Episode 5 ...  The Flasque Bladé and the suspicious smell.
