A quick test of the Blood and Steel rules for an Eighteenth Century skirmish game.

Lady Baggshotte admires the size of the Reverends smuggled column. |
And our model for her ladyship. |
Granville de Piffle and his Dragoons arrive, to put a stop to the Smugglers trade. |
A covered approach through the woods. The fire from the Smugglers is poor. |
But the Dragoons deliver a nice volley and Charge |
The fight at the wall. I handle Granville separately. |
Granville pursues the routed Smugglers, but the Reverend and his men fire off there pieces, hitting his horse. |
The Reverend flees the scene, his gang more or less intact. |
And de Piffle is found astride a piglet, having been thrown from his now wounded horse. I fear Granville is not the Officer we need to sort this all out. |
A good little game, and the mechanisms stood up to the test. Larger scale next time.
