My Austro-Hungarian platoon is in the thick of it near Zaklików. The Chateau centre table is an excellent vantage point for observation and the Austrians are tasked with escorting an artillery Obs officer forwards. Leutnant Hans Schoup has embraced the doctrine of attack, attack!
Opposite him a new Russian Lieutenant, the deranged Baron Vladimir, has decided to capture the Chateau and declare it part of the Motherland!

Chateau Zaklików |
Austrian blinds advance on table. |
The Russians also move up. |
Hans Schoup's plan does not look subtle |
The Russian MG kills four Austrians |
Not a good start |
The Russians move in a formation against the building. |
The Austrian Leutnant makes his move, storming into the building. |
But the Russians swarm the position. |
And the Imperials should be doing better |
Bayonets fixed the Russians storm the building. Casualties are even and high. |
My Austrian Leutnant dies in an heroic struggle and the morale of the Imperials collapses. |
Clearly I need to reinforce the Austrians for next time!
