The Likely Lads' Hideout

At a remote farmhouse near Chester Le Street bad Bobby Bewes has gathered his gang.  The plot has something to do with racing whippets, but as ever the Lads are unclear.

A witness has reported hearing gunfire near the farm.  It was probably Thirsty Gazza, who has somehow been trusted with a luger pistol.  An hour later the gang realise that the Constabulary  have responded.  Detective Sergeant Ronnie Barker and a group of armed Constables have the farm surrounded.

Setting up
Using the "Whatva Cowboy" rules.  I'm finding an A3 pad makes sense for the record cards.

The Law

The Lads

The "What a Cowboy" layout in an A2 pad

The Coppers arrive

Hawtrey and the Police dog chargecdown the road.  The others are more cautious.

Terry lurks near the Cows ready to ambush

Bob emerges from the barn and fires the shotgun.  It jams.

PC Dale rolls an end of turn.

He shoots at Terry

And Bob's best mate goes down

Chapter ending, everyone reloads

Cribbins puts three rounds into Mad Cheryl.

And Cheryl goes down in a heap.

But Thirsty Gazza fires his luger at DS in Barker.   Close misses.

Hawtrey releases Police Dog Flash, who grabs Bob's vitals.

And since Flash has him Hawtregy waves his truncheon and shouts encouragement.

DS Ronnie Barker empties his.38 at Gazza, taking the boy down.

And Bob is last seen trying to getvawaybin a slow motion chase with an attached Police Dog.  Hawtrey gives chase, "Here, I want a word with you!"

A roll of d6 indicates that somehow Bob escaped.  He must gathervwhat remains of the Likely Lads and strike a blow for the Geordie boys.
Hawtrey meanwhile has questions to answer, such as... where exactly is your Police dog, Constable?
