At a remote farmhouse near Chester Le Street bad Bobby Bewes has gathered his gang. The plot has something to do with racing whippets, but as ever the Lads are unclear.
A witness has reported hearing gunfire near the farm. It was probably Thirsty Gazza, who has somehow been trusted with a luger pistol. An hour later the gang realise that the Constabulary have responded. Detective Sergeant Ronnie Barker and a group of armed Constables have the farm surrounded.

He shoots at Terry |
And Bob's best mate goes down |
Chapter ending, everyone reloads |

And Cheryl goes down in a heap. |
But Thirsty Gazza fires his luger at DS in Barker. Close misses. |
Hawtrey releases Police Dog Flash, who grabs Bob's vitals. |
And since Flash has him Hawtregy waves his truncheon and shouts encouragement. |
DS Ronnie Barker empties his.38 at Gazza, taking the boy down. |

A roll of d6 indicates that somehow Bob escaped. He must gathervwhat remains of the Likely Lads and strike a blow for the Geordie boys.
Hawtrey meanwhile has questions to answer, such as... where exactly is your Police dog, Constable?
