Gonad Sea King of Gath

I bought the Lucid Eye Goliath, Sea People's King to replace my fallen hero general from a campaign presently running at Durham Wargames.  

A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span.  He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him.

Goliath is described as being six cubits and a span tall. This translates to roughly 9 feet 9 inches (2.97 meters), 

The mighty Gonad, Sea King of Gath.  I suspect he will be a huge target!  Super detailed figure.  50mm.

I have him a base coat of sand colour, and used bronze, gold and silver metallics.  The kilt below the bronze chest armour is typically Sea People's, but Canaanite too, so I multi colored it, using the Osprey elite on the Sea People's as a template.

The shield bearer I translate to a chariot driver.

The big boy dwarfs that chariot though.

Just the basing and shading to go.

Fire - Roll a die at the end of every turn. On a 6, a randomly chosen scenic item (preferably a building or car) will catch fire. Any model in contact with it takes a C3 attack. Any vehicle in contact with the fire is destroyed, with a 1-in-6 chance of blowing up as per a Fireball.

And the cops arrive taking down the street punk guards in the garden

And one of those punks gets a hit on Foxy herself.

The Jingbai Policeburst into the foyer.

And the SWAT team follow up, it's a bloodbath.

The cops make it into the inner mansion.

And it's a stand off.

Broken by the Sumo guy, who goes berserk.  

The Oyabun's men begin to fail morale.

And after a devastating round the firepower of the cops wins.

The Oyabun goes down and the plot points are gathered.  A decisive win for the cops.

Foxy at the Jingbai Container park

 A US (NYPD) Police Office has been sent to Jingbai City to assist in an international case. It would be fair to say that Detective Foxy Brown, helacious babe, is something of a rogue operator.  She seems to sass a lot, but has excellent background in blues music!

Meantime Sergeant Arakai and his sidekick Detective Ito, of the Special Task Unit have learned of the existence of a hidden treasure of the corporation.   Having survived an ambush sh at a city intersection they have come to an abandoned container park on the edge of the city.

2, The deserted Container Yard - Revenge

A scenic item contains a treasure or a spiritual secret. Actually it's the Cyber-Systems Replicant, powered down inside a container. Unfortunately, touching the item will trigger a trap that attacks the character with C4. An Extra beaten by the trap is killed. A Protagonist takes 1 wound. Possession of the artefact at the end of the scenario is worth +1 Chi Level. To determine which scenic item hides the trap and the artefact, any character may spend two actions adjacent to the scenic item, and roll a die. On a roll of 5 or 6, the artefact is found. If all the dice rolls fail, the artefact is automatically found in the final scenic item.

No bystanders.

Second Episode 

The cops arrived following the last clue.

Once again I'm using the Cyberpunk terrain book.

And the Yakusa are in force!

In a random crate meanwhile a Cybersystems Terminator.

The Yakusa spread their search

The cops stay close

Contact. A Yakusa goes down

Two street punks go high onto the containers

And the Oyabuns bodyguard does the same.

Ito charges in using his pump action shotgun at zero range.  Devastating but he takes a wound.

Araskai takes a sword wound

AraskI must retreat but Ito blasts the bodyguard with the shotgun.

And we find the replicant.

Meanwhile the street punks shoot it out with Foxy

And the rolls of one indicate that the Yakusa morale is failing 

The Sumo guy makes a charge at the cops.  His dice don't cut it.

Sergeant Araskai seems to put two rounds into his right ear with the double six 

And Foxy is proving more than a match for the street punks.

The Yakusa morale fails and they break.

The Oyabuns flees with the surviving street punks.

And the cops take the replicant before it can be powered up.

Next time.  The Jingbai Police raid the Yakusa boss's mansion

Meantime Sergeant Arakai and his sidekick Detective Ito, of the Special Task Unit have arrived to escort the Yankee to a meeting with an intelligence source, codename "Hagībea." (Ok so its Huggy bear in Japanese!) who will reveal that the so called Jingbai Ghoul, an underworld figure in Japan, is responsible for much of the production of "lightning," a drug that literally makes someone faster than a normal human.  It is suspected that a Corporation is behind "Lightning."

Once again Detective Ito sees this as a good chance to pick up some Pica-Pica Mega soda, the soda that keeps you going...  the Department, and especially Ito, are all crazy for the stuff.

Complication
The battle takes place during a storm. All ranged combat is at -1. Animals are spooked by lightning and perform a random movement every time they roll a 1 on their activation dice.

The fire will be doused if the entirety of the scenic item is caught in a grenade blast or if a sorcerer uses Water-wall on it.
