Pieces of Eight, The Malabar Coast

Piracy along the Malabar coast was rife during the Eighteenth Century, and my game is set during the (fictional) Tea Wars.  The Typhoo Sultan has commissioned one of his sons, Prince Tetlee, and installed him at Cannanore with half a dozen ships and a regiment of the feared Green turbaned Typhoo Guards, as well as the usual scurvy dogs.

Further down the coast, at Calicut, the British have garrisoned the city, and  prepared to sweep the Indian Ocean clear of "pirates."  Colonel Reynolds has been installed as Governor, and given a ready supply of pink gin.  His second in command, Major Tudor "Shut up"Williams, has readied a column to march on Cannanore.

Mr Brooke Bond of the East India company has insisted that the battalion remain in the Garrison for now, and just as well since an attack is imminent.

Twinangs Sahib

The Calicut Garrison
Prince Tetlee assaults The Lady Garden of the Governess.
And the Typhoo Sultan himself attacks the Garrison building from his howdah.  The flank attack is lead by the renegade Twinings Sahib
Major Tudor's last stand.  Not sure how he got his horse onto the roof.  Keen eyed observers will note the presence of Sepoy Randi Ram, who will soon be forced to remove his uniform coat and mingle with the crowd.
