Successful  into patrol zone 1.

The Handley Page takes off, tailwind allows him to get into zone 2 ahead of schedule.

Ship in trouble card.  Niven carries on his mission, but will report this back at the Aerodrome.

Pusser's Kye followed by stop that pigeon, twice out in that order.  How much rum is cookie using in that Cocoa?  Note to self shuffle the cards for longer.
Niven is out over the Dogger now.  No sightings.  At half fuel 100 gallons he turns for home.

A German Destroyer is sighted.  Zone 2.  Niven has a good selection of accumulated pilot dice.  The German engages with Mg fire.

Attenborough is wounded, to cries of "Dickie Darling, Luvvie," he passes out.  Guinness however has been killed, although causes less fuss with his stiff upper lip.  Niven begins his bombing run.  He spots and passes his aim.  Of the two shoot dice one hits one misses.  The Destroyer begins to list, and Niven turns the Handley Page back towards the Aerodrome.    He has defeated the solo programming of Herr Grun.  The Handley Page has now 14 Air hours, and passes its maintenance roll.  A new mission tomorrow.
Niven claims his first kill, but has lost two crewmen.  He will take two sprog gunlayers with -1 Aim dice.
The rules are still a work in progress but I`m getting there.

  1. This ripping and entertaining stuff, more please! Alas for poor Dickie and Alec. Let's hope new recruits Sinden and Mills have more luck.
