What a Sudanese Constable

General Kitchener (Godde Bless Him) has ordered that the Great Bazaar, just outside the water gate of Khartoum, be cleared of troublemakers.  The problem is that Mad Mustapha and his gang are determined to strike a blow for the Mahdi, played by Larry Olivier in this movie, darlings.

The Grand Bazaar

Young "Spotty" Herbert Farthingdale and his section of the Khartoum Police have been detailed to go and get it all sorted out.   Herbert still suffers from a face rash caused by his allergy to just about everything.

Mo leads the Police forwards

And the Dervish begin to appear

Herbert meanwhile directs his section from the rear

Using the WAC rules with drawn cards worked well.  

Ismael takes a potshot at Mo

The Dervish shooting is fine but with all of this cover they are failing to convert hits

Hasim squares up to Abdullah

And Mo gets some good results.  The Dervish begin wavering.  Note that Herbert has yet to even move.

We pot one.  Its going well for the Law today

Mustapha gets forward, but he is losing men,

Mo pots one himself

Snider Rifle vs pointy stick!

Herbert finally gets forward and fires his revolver

The remaining Dervish break and run for it

And a skirmish line of the constabulary sweeps the market clear.
